We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Food Service Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Food Preparation – prepare food items according to recipes, menus, and customer orders while following proper food safety and hygiene procedures to ensure the quality and safety of food products.

• Food Service – Serve food to customer in a timely and courteous manner, either at counters or tables. Process payment, take, place, and ensure orders are accurate.

• Cleanliness – Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, equipment, utensils, and dining areas according to established sanitation standards. Monitor and restock supplies such as napkins, condiments, and utensils as needed.

• Customer interaction – greet all customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service. Address customer inquires, concerns and complaints promptly and professionally. Ensure customers satisfaction by delivering high-quality food and service experiences.

• Compliance and Safety – Follow all relevant health, safety and sanitation regulations including those related to food handling and storage. Maintain knowledge of food safety guidelines and participate in training programs as required.

• Flexibility and adaptability – Adapt to changing work environments and schedules, including peak dining hours and special events. Willingness to take on additional responsibilities or tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

· Knowledge of food safety regulations and requirements

· Must have the ability to abide by cleanliness and hygiene related regulations and expectations.

· Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response is an asset.

· Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once while maintaining attention to detail.

· Team player with excellent interpersonal skills

· Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50lbs safely and effectively.

Qualifications:

· Food Handler Certificate is an asset.

· Smart Serve Certification is an asset.

· Kitchen experience is an asset.
