Forklift Operator - Counterbalance

Adecco is currently seeking reliable and experienced Forklift Operators with experience on Counterbalance machines to join our client’s team in Belleville, ON. In this role you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting materials while adhering to safety protocols and following established procedures.

Ideally you will have a certification and experience operating counterbalance forklifts, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If this describes you, apply today!

• Pay rate: up to $20.00/hour.

• Location: Belleville, ON

• Shifts: Continental 12hour rotating shifts- will include weekends

• Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to move materials within the facility.

• Load and unload trucks, stack and unstack pallets, and perform other material handling tasks as required.

• Conduct routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues.

• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Assist with inventory control by accurately recording product movements.

• Collaborate with warehouse team members to achieve overall operational goals.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of previous experience using Counterbalance Forklifts, or other forklift with experience with counterbalance machines.

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a similar setting.

• Valid forklift certification and a strong understanding of safety protocols.

• Ability to operate different types of forklifts and other material handling equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
