Position: Warehouse - Distribution Centre (Hourly, Unionized)

Shift: Afternoons, Midnights

Duties and Responsibilities

• All warehousing functions including shipping and receiving while operating forklifts and other equipment in a safe manner
• Accurately complete transactions for material movements using scanners or PC, including the use of SAP
• Responsible for safety and cleanliness of their work area at all times
• Perform a variety of tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school (OSSD or equivalent)
• Completion of post-secondary education an asset
• Quick learner with leadership qualities, superior communication and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to quickly identify and take action in a safe manner
• Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs
• Forklift experience or certification
• Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly in the food industry, is an asset
• Flexible availability for all shifts
