Forklift Operator - Raymond Reach/Counterbalance

Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time Forklift Operator to work for our client, a sports equipment manufacturing company in Markham, ON. We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators specializing in either Raymond Reach (double deep reach trucks) and/or Raymond Counterbalance forklifts. Your primary responsibility is to operate the designated forklift efficiently and safely to move, stack, and handle materials in a warehouse or industrial setting. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment. • Pay rate: $23.00/hour

• Location: Markham, ON

Responsibilities:

• Helping with container unloads

• Working in shipping and receiving

• Working in a team environment

• Operate forklifts equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts, clamps, elevating platforms, or trailer hitches to load, unload, transport, stack or remove materials

• Perform routine pre- and post-inspections on forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning

• Maintain inventory accuracy by identifying and reporting any discrepancies

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

• Valid Raymond Reach Double Deep Reach Truck and Counterbalance certifications required

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting

• Ability to lift up to 25Lbs

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Must have certification for Raymond Reach and counterbalance.
