Our expectations:

Reporting to the Coach, Operations, the Stacker is responsible for ensuring load completion, securing outbound pallets with shrink wrap, consolidating pallets, and safely loading trailers for store deliveries.

Your role:

• Safely load and secure customer goods on outbound trailers
• Transport / move loads to specified locations
• Drive and operate material handling equipment (stand-up forklift) with fork and/or clamp attachment
• Locate missing product for load completion
• Hand wrap pallets for loading
• Act in accordance with all current RONA policies and procedures
• Encourage and participate in teamwork and the Shipping Department’s success through a positive attitude
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of shipments
• Complete and maintain all necessary paperwork
• Provide and uphold a safe working environment
• Stack products safely and securely to lessen the number of skids or clampable sections
• Uphold our 5 core values
• Perform all other related tasks

The qualifications we are looking for :

• Stand-up forklift experience (an asset)
• Willingness to train
• Related experience (an asset but not required)
• Responsible, meticulous, and attentive to work
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• RF gun experience (an asset)
• Strong listening, communication, and organizational skills
• Time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform job duties that involve stretching, bending, lifting, and carrying medium to heavy products
