North West Rubber is looking for a full-time permanent Forklift Operator to work in our facility in Brantford, ON. North West Rubber is Canada's leader in tire recycling turning used tires into usable products such as multi-purpose matting, artificial sports surfaces and other innovative products.
Continental Night Shift: Sun-Thurs or Mon-Friday Start time in negotiable after 4pm. 8 hour shifts
Wage: $20.75/hr
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift
- Complete pre-start checklists and daily production reports
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments as required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Assist other operators when required
- Stage materials on the plant floor
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience operating forklift
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing facility
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Willingness to assist where needed
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as required
