Slegg Building Materials is currently seeking a Full-Time Forklift Operator to join our team. The shifts are Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm. The wage range is $20-23.50 per hour (Tier 1; $20-21.758, Tier 2; $21.75-23.50). Extended Health & Dental Benefits start after 3 months.

Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing, rotating inventory counts of merchandise
- Perform daily inspections of forklift and complete required forms
- Ensure forklift maintenance and servicing requirements are met
- Build orders to required specifications for delivery
- Load and unload building materials in a safe and efficient manner
- Check load contents for accuracy and secure materials
- Ensure that all products are shipped on schedule and according to specific instructions by management to meet customer demands
- Maintain contact with supervisor(s) and work to resolve issues as they arise
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Effective communication skills and ability to read and speak English
- Valid forklift certification (propane)
- Forklift experience is essential
- Effective communication skills and ability to read and speak English
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Basic hand tool skills
- Physical requirements include:
o Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
o Sitting, driving and standing for long periods of time
o Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements with weight
