Forklift Operator/Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role requires heavy lifting and operating equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks. Responsibilities:
- Utilize order picking equipment to retrieve items from designated storage areas
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to provided specifications
- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure accuracy of picked items
- Prepare orders for shipment by properly packaging and labeling them
- Operate forklifts and clamp trucks to move materials within the warehouse
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to meet daily production goals
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and update order status

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or similar role preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis
- Proficient in order picking techniques and familiar with warehouse operations
- Knowledge of basic math skills for counting, sorting, and verifying inventory
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and clamp trucks is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment processes
- Excellent organizational skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
