Tail Blazers Head Office is seeking a self-motivated, pet-loving, dynamic individual with experience in the pet food industry. Tail Blazers has 23 locations across Canada and focuses on pet health and healthy food and products for pets. This is a fantastic opportunity to be creative, help make a difference in the lives of pets and have flexible work hours.
We are looking for someone who has interesting and engaging ideas for social media, as well as a team member who can work independently at home with minimal interactions with others, but if necessary, communicate with store owners / staff or with members of the public.
Position would include the following tasks, but not limited to:
-social media content creation and management including video/reels, posts, promotions and copy writing
-monitor and respond to messages on social media
-view social media metrics and utilize data to improve engagement
-stay up to date on social trends and tools
-e-mail newsletter set up
-other head office tasks as required, such as run monthly promotional reports, research topics, collect information and complete data entry for promotions and store documents
-complete tasks in a timely manner
-possible attendance of community events or local festivals in the local area
-mail out promotional items to stores
-stop at local stores to collect items for promotions / videos or take video footage
-work within branding guidelines to ensure a consistent feel
Skills required:
-General computer skills including cloud storage and email
-Excel, Word (and equivalent Google programs)
-Social Media Management (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube)
-Entry level or higher video creation and editing skills
-Creative design software (such as Canva)
-Writing and editing
-Interpersonal skills
-Attention to detail
-Organized
-Troubleshooting ability
-Collaborate with a team or work on your own
-Self motived

Ontario preferred, but not required
