Front Counter Customer Service

Join our fast paced organization! Federated Tool Supply is a large retailer of power tools, machines and accessories in Canada. We are currently looking for a full time employee to work on our growing team. The successful candidate will be outgoing, friendly, and willing to learn new skills. He or she will have a strong drive and desire to help customers. You will be part of a team interacting with customers and suppliers to answer questions, provide required information to customers and complete sales. The best candidate will have good communication skills and a natural ability to deal with and assist people. Knowledge of tools is not required. Any candidate to be considered will have a minimum of 2 years experience in industrial sales.

Job Outline:

Sales:

• Communication with customer regarding any delays or relevant product-specific information related to their order
• Order status changes
• Providing product ETA’s to customers based on supplier updates
• Provide product-specific information
• Invoicing
• Maintaining margins within a set structure

Candidates should be familiar with:

• Spire (or other business systems)
• Checking inventory
• Referring to Sales History
• Creating Sales Orders with Requisitions
• Google Chrome / Big Commerce
• Communication with customers
• Modifying orders if required
• Microsoft Outlook
• Communication with customers
• Responding to questions from Judge.me, Contact Us page, and direct email

The successful applicant will possess: a Grade 12 or equivalent education, valid G class driver’s license positive attitude ability to think clearly and logically good memory skills excellent computer skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, Point-of-Sale Excellent people skills Time management skills and be punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities include: Interaction with customers Answering customer questions invoicing

Hours: 8am – 5:00 Monday – Friday. Rotating Saturdays 9-12.

Salary: Based on experience.
