Front Desk Representative

Comfort Inn St Thomas has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and organized professional to join our dynamic team. This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in the hospitality industry and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

Job Duties:

· Manage online reservations and phone reservations. Inform customer about payment methods and verify their credit card data

· Perform all check-in and check-out

· Welcome Visitors/Guest professionally and determine the purpose of their visit

· Provide information about the room rates, availability and hotel amenities

· Maintain updated record of payments and receipts

· Respond to guests’ complaints in a timely and professional manner

· Liaise with the housekeeping staff to ensure all the rooms are clean and tidy for the guests’ accommodation

· Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

· Ultimately you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guest

Job Requirements:

· Professionalism and understanding of the hospitality industry.

· Confidence in dealing with the public, able to think and react quickly

· Strong Customer Service Skills

· Good computer skills able to learn new program

· Must be available to work a variety of shifts including Afternoons, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: From $17.55 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• customer service: 3 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• St. Thomas, ON (preferred)
