SalaryJob Description:
- Supervise the efficient operations of reception including check in/out procedures
- Support team members in handling guest requests and enquiries
- Ensure that the Rooms Division Manager is kept aware of any relevant feedback from Guests and/or other departments
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
- Maintain up to date knowledge of all hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, adventure tours and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
- Intimate knowledge of local area and all resort offerings including adventure tours and restaurant menus
- Monitor the standards and performance of the Front Desk Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork
- Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics, which inspire Team Members to exceed standards
- Follow and adhere to company brand standards
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships with all team members
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and physical condition of the Front Desk and office storage areas
Job Requirements:
- Desire to learn and grow within the Hospitality industry
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Competent level of IT proficiency
- Experience using various PMS, CRM and payment processing systems an asset
- Experience using WebRez and Fare Harbour an asset
- Must enjoy shift work and be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Previous experience in the hotel industry
- Previous supervisory experience
