Front of House Team Member
Duties:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Alcohol drink menu items selling skills and serving skills
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors
- Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to increase sales
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to customers
- Process customer payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergen information
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for customers
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with coworkers and management
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- SMART SERVE REQUIRED and FOOD HANDLER CERTIFICATE IS A PLUS
