What will your typical day look like?

This is a key role at the heart of the Global Audit & Assurance Transformation & Change (GAATC) Program as part of the Integrated Program Management Office (IPMO). Additionally, this role is critical to the execution of projects and workstreams enabling program delivery spanning operating areas of people, process, and technology, including management of workstream plans to achieve Program objectives, dependency management, risk/issue active management/ escalations, reporting execution, and workstream leader/stakeholder management.

This role will support delivery of Transformation projects, including core products and enabling technologies, and be responsible for liaising across workstream stakeholders and IT function to support successful delivery. Additionally, this role is in the IPMO Program Management pillar, including maintenance of project schedules and timelines, relationship management across key stakeholders, along with management of program risks, issues, and dependencies feeding into executive prioritization and decision making. The role faces an extraordinarily complex program that requires establishment of credibility, relationship building, and technical knowledge to apply the judgement and discretion demanded by this role.

Our Global Audit & Assurance Transformation & Change IPMO Project Manager will need to apply deep experience in program management to negotiate challenging discussions with program stakeholders around overall strategy, priorities, meeting deadlines, risks & issues escalation, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop project schedules and timelines and manage projects to completion, obtaining buy-in from key stakeholders and leadership on plans
  • Identify obstacles to delivery and effectively plan mitigations and workarounds to achieve milestones on-time
  • Track, manage and escalate project risks & issues
  • Identify project interdependencies across Program workstreams and effectively plan project timelines based on these interdependencies
  • Manage relationships with key (including senior) stakeholders inside and outside of GAA (Global Audit & Assurance) to ensure successful delivery
  • Ensure timely communication flow between project leadership and key stakeholders in pursuit of alignment of decision making

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of work experience, with 3 years in Program or Project Management
  • Bachelor's degree or similar professional qualification in the Program/Project management field
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization both within Business and IT functions
  • Experienced with delivering large-scale technology and/or data projects, including understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Able to build and grow trust in context of strong, collaborative relationships with various stakeholders and team members
  • Demonstrated knowledge and effective application of Project Management Institute (PMI) PM standard methodology, tools and techniques
  • Experience tracking, managing, and escalating Program risks & issues, including development of mitigation strategies in collaboration with the project team and leadership
  • Experience with core PM tools including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, etc.), and others
