If you are a communications professional that loves bringing business strategy to life through an engaging employee experience, then we have an exciting role for you! We're looking for a Communications & Events Manager to join our Global Internal Communications team.

As an experienced strategic communicator with a creative flair, you'll work closely with our Communications, HR and leadership teams to translate our growth plans into communications, events and experiences that inspire and engage. You'll be an adept writer and an event extraordinaire, who enjoys bringing stories and concepts to life through a variety of tactics, including live/virtual event and multimedia content.

How You'll Add Value:

Strategic Communications

• Support our 'Rising Star' (Purpose, Vision, Values & Growth Plan), by defining and developing communication plans in partnership with key business leaders across the organization.

Leadership Communications & Events

• Work closely with the communications team and business partners to develop engaging experiences in support of our leadership & event strategy, including: developing our bi-weekly global leadership team call series, including the preparation of content and speaker coaching; project management of our global annual digital all hands event, bringing together thousands of McCainers together from around the world along with co-creation of a memorable experience for our 2023/2024 Global Leadership Team in person event in partnership with trusted event partners
• Support our leaders become more effective communicators (especially via live/virtual events and over video)

About You:

• 7-10 years in-house internal/corporate/marketing communications experience (or agency/equivalent)
• Highly proficient in all aspects of Communications including strategic planning, content development and event management.
• Significant experience in event management and/or project management - especially related to managing companywide/enterprise communication projects
• Skilled in storytelling through a variety of media. Great writing skills and ability to develop high quality and impactful PowerPoint presentations is a must!
• Team player, with the ability to operate collaboratively across geographies, functions, levels, and varying time-zones
• Results focused, with ability to manage multiple deadlines in a faced paced and high transaction function
• Ability to self-develop content (using Adobe/Canva etc.) or direct others in doing so
• Highly organized, with excellent time-management and inter-personal skills
