Reporting to the Global CEO, Real Estate Services, Colliers is seeking to fill a Global Director, Real Estate Services, Operations. In this newly created leadership role, be a part of a high performing leadership team to drive strategic growth across a complex and global Real Estate organization with annual revenues of $3.5 billion dollars, and $92 billion of assets under management.
The Global Director will be responsible for decision making support and driving cross functional projects and transformation initiatives to meet the organization’s strategic objectives. Highly business and relationship oriented, the Global Director, RES Operations will serve as a trusted advisor to a world-class senior leadership team and partner effectively with regional stakeholders.
The Global Director, RES Operations will be responsible for:
- Driving strategic projects: Lead strategic projects across the globe; partnering with leadership and diverse teams to implement. This will involve conducting research, financial and operational analysis, structuring solutions, identifying growth opportunities, developing frameworks, preparing presentation materials, providing thought leadership, and using hypothesis-driven approaches to solve complex problems and influence/support corporate decisions
- Project based communications: Manage and communicate cross functional strategic projects status to senior management and to the broader organization.
- Presentation preparation: Prepare and present “executive ready” presentation materials and deliverables, with a strong ability to craft compelling narratives for board meetings, internal and external audiences.
- Research and decision support: Develop rigorous, fact-based, quantitative analysis to support executive decisions. Ensure strategic and financial soundness.
- Competitive analysis: Monitor performance and strategy vs. peers and develop recommendations for Colliers
- Metrics management: Define, establish, track, and refine metrics and KPIs that measure the business health and successful execution of strategic projects and initiatives. Lead course correction plans and communicate results.
- Operations management: Manage Global RES budget, develop global policies, and drive global CEO meeting agendas & meeting follow-ups.
- Programs best practice sharing: Identify and partner with regions to implement best practices company-wide and across specific business units and functions
- Advisor/trusted partner: Build meaningful relationships as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the business
- You are an expert. You have 8+ years’ experience with decision making support and driving complex cross functional initiatives with multiple partners at large professional services organizations. You have excellent business acumen, can conduct analytical projects autonomously and translate business requirements into priorities, solutions, actions, and results. You have a superior ability to distill, interpret and summarize large sets of data as well as strong project management skills and the ability to create reporting and processes to hold people accountable in achieving goals. Degree in business and/or and MBA is preferred. Commercial Real Estate experience is considered an asset.
