What is the opportunity?
This role comprises of working in RBCs DACH Investment Banking team based in Frankfurt. The Vice President/Director will support the DACH region and cross-border.
- Provide leadership and support the marketing and execution of M&A advisory services and other financial advisory services
- Provide day-to-day leadership, organisation and mentoring to Associates and Analysts in the Team
- Senior support to the Managing Directors
What will you do?
- Work as directed by the Managing Directors as required to develop and grow the business
Lead the origination effort and management of the transaction, maintaining regular contact with client, specialist advisors, other inhouse departments and ad hoc contacts as required. Ensure requisite internal approvals are secured.
Supervise the development and operation of financial models and related tools required to execute transactions
• Process transaction to the documentation and funding stage.
• Manage workflow and outputs of Associates and Analysts
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
- University degree or equivalent
- Experience of marketing and execution of M&A advisory services
- Extensive M&A Investment banking experience
- Significant transaction experience
- Hardworking, enthusiastic, and professional work ethic
- Sound judgement with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and develop relationships with clients at all levels
- Teamwork approach with colleagues
- Knowledge of Investment Banking services and the
- ability to apply them creatively to diverse client needs
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Computer software skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
