Grande Prairie Christian School is a school of choice within the Grande Prairie Public School Division. They teach the Alberta Program of Studies from the Christian worldview and provide additional Christian programming for students through devotions, Bible class and chapels. Qualifications, Skills and Attitudes:

a knowledge of and commitment to Christian education

a commitment to support and teach Alberta curriculum from a Biblical worldview

a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate (or eligible to apply)

a Bachelor Degree in Education

ability and willingness to lead and participate in activities central to a Christian school including: prayer, devotional teaching and spiritual mentorship

enthusiasm for coaching and extra-curricular involvement

an approach to education that recognizes parents as the primary educator in their childs life

a commitment to excellence in all aspects of school life

a commitment to ongoing professional development

a willingness to build relationship with the entire school community (parents, staff etc.) not just students

a growth mindset
