Greenhouse Cashier / Customer Service

Position Summary:

As a cashier, you will be the first-person customers see when they walk into our greenhouse, therefore you are responsible for creating a connection between our customers to make them feel welcomed and appreciated. Cashiers and Customer Service associates consistently exceed expectations, provide exceptional service and display passion for our operation. Sales Associates are part of a team, focused on delivering top line sales results. Seaway Farms is a fast-paced work environment with lots of moving pieces to ensure you never have a dull day!

Qualifications:

· Successfully completed Secondary School Graduate Diploma or equivalent

· Prior retail is preferred

· Previous work experience and/or knowledge of plants is considered an asset

· Excellent time management skills

· Ability to walk, stand, lift, twist, carry (up to 50lbs) and reach for an extended period of time *

Responsibilities:

· Greets and offers assistance to every customer; focuses on customer engagement

· Is able to maintain some knowledge about various plants including an assortment of annuals and perennials

· Prioritizes delivering an exceptional customer experience and always places our customer first

· Executes processing, replenishment, cashiering, promotions, and visual/marketing directives in alignment with brand standards

· Upholds back-stock organization and adheres to all company tools, policies and procedures

· Maintains awareness of potential theft and reports concerns to management

· Demonstrates a sense of pride, commitment, and our customers; treats customers and store team professionally, courteously, and respectfully

· Celebrates and embraces individuality, inclusion and partnership; builds relationships and seeks out feedback for continuous self-development

· Embraces innovation, change and company initiatives.
