SalaryDeVry Greenhouses is seeking a motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our fun and energetic team. The core focus of this position is to help alongside production in the greenhouse and nursery at our Sumas location.
The ideal candidate has some flexibility with hours due to volume changes during peak and non-peak periods. Regular hours are 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Some Saturday work will be required during peak times.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Propagating various types of cuttings
- Planting, spacing, spiking of plants
- Shipping of plants
- Other duties required in a greenhouse & nursery setting
Qualifications:
- Hard working
- Self-motivated
- Positive and uplifting can-do attitude
- Able to work alone or part of a team
- Willing and able to work long hours as needed during peak shipping seasons
- Past greenhouse experience is an asset but we are willing to train the right individual
