**Job Description: Grill Cook and Front of House Personnel - Summer Employment** **Position Overview:** We are seeking a mature university student with previous experience operating a fast-food grill in a high-paced environment to join our team as a Grill Cook and Front of House Personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing quality food items, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and providing excellent customer service at the front of the house. **Key Responsibilities:** - Operate grill and other kitchen equipment efficiently and safely. - Prepare and cook food items in accordance with company recipes and quality standards. - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, including equipment, counters, and floors. - Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking supplies. - Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the front counter, taking orders, processing payments, and addressing customer inquiries or concerns. - Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations. - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours. - Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, as well as company policies and procedures. **Qualifications:** - Previous experience operating a fast-food grill in a high-paced environment is required. - Must be a mature university student with the ability to handle responsibility and work independently. - Availability to work approximately 40 hours per week, including Saturdays, Sundays, and early evenings. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. - Must have own transportation, as the location is outside of public transport boundaries. - Previous references from employers or supervisors are required. - Wage will be determined based on experience. **Benefits:** - Competitive wages based on experience. - Positive and supportive work environment. - Employee discounts on food and beverages. **How to Apply:** Interested candidates who meet the above qualifications are invited to submit their resume along with references via email to kawarthasweetsandeats@gmail.com or in person at Kawartha Sweets an Eats, 17 Indacom Drive, Lakefield (Douro).
