Guest Services Representative

Physical Requirement:

Light, work activities involve handling loads of 5 kg but less than 10 kg; Predominately in an indoor setting.

Compensation Information:

$18.50 per hour

Accountabilities:

• Daily operation of the Guest Services desks in the Village Day Lodge, including ticket sales
• Contact position for guests regarding lift tickets, Season Passes sales for Summer and Winter, booking biking lessons and summer activities, as well as resort information
• Deals with guests in an efficient, courteous, respectful, and friendly manner
• Demonstrates a commitment to exceeding the customer’s expectations
• Manages all cash transactions in a secure and accurate manner
• Highly organized and efficient in the workplace
• Always follows company policies and procedures
• Security and accountability of tickets and cash
• Balancing daily sales to computer reports

Ideal Candidate:

• Highly developed guest relations skills with the ability to assess the needs and up-sell our products
• Self-motivated and organized with the ability to work responsibly and independently
• Strong computer and cash-handling skills
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual team player
• Previous customer/guest service experience
• A good knowledge of the regional area and a willingness to learn
• Well organized with the ability to multi-task and work to tight timelines
