RFNOW Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to join our company as a Health & Safety Administrator. The successful candidate must be experienced in assisting with day-to-day operations of the company and providing administrative support to our safety team. The successful candidate must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while remaining highly organized in a fast-paced, high demand work environment.
General Responsibilities:
*The ideal candidate must be able to attend the Virden Office location on a regular basis.
*Provide administrative services to the Health and Safety Committee in accordance with company policies and procedures, OH&S Legislation and Transport Canada requirements.
*General administrative services to the Health and Safety department including filing, data entry, typing and assisting in the management of communications and paperwork, managing safety statistics and assisting with general reception and telephone duties.
*Record, track and manage reporting of upcoming safety training and certification for subcontractors and company staff.
*Reporting safety statistics monthly.
*Ensure compliance to applicable codes, legislation and procedures including Health and Safety.
*Maintain accurate records/documentation in your work.
*Contribute towards the efficient running of the team.
*Conduct New Hire Orientation training.
*Participate in Hazard Identification and Incident Reporting.
*Monthly Office Inspections.
Qualifications & Experience:
*Must have experience in a Health and Safety Role preferably in a construction organization.
*Basic understanding of administration and the office environment.
*Understanding of Health and Safety issues and how a Health and Safety teamwork.
*Understanding of Manitoba WCB policy, procedure and reporting requirements
*Sound knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and laws
