Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and assistance to resident in a home setting
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Uphold and advocate for resident rights and dignity
- Assist with medication administration
-mouth suctioning is required
-ability to work with non-verbal young man and able to give quality of life
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident living areas and common spaces
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to assist resident with mobility and transfers
- Provide support and assistance to individual and family
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with resident
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy
Please note that previous experience in healthcare is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and qualities.
