Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
•Diagnose, repair and re-condition Heavy Duty Trucks, trailers and equipment.
•Maintain and operate repair shop equipment and other repair tools.
•Participate in all necessary training to keep product knowledge current.
•Interact with customers and fellow employees in a professional and courteous manner.
•Perform all required tasks at an efficient level, while maintaining quality and a safe working environment
OTHER SKILLS:
Good general computer skills
Ability to problem solve and find solutions.
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Good written and oral communication skills in English are required.
Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record an asset
Willing to work on automotive vehicles
EDUCATION:
Red Seal in Heavy Equipment Technician is preferred, apprentices will be considered, based on experience
Candidates must be registered with Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training program
Have or be able to obtain a valid CVIP ticket
EXPERIENCE:
3-5 Years relevant experience of diagnostics and repairs on Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer
COMPENSATION
Compensation rate is based on level of experience.
