We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team on the North Bay Main Street Project. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of Heavy Equipment, such as excavator, back hoe, dozer and loader.
Duties:
- Operate Heavy Equipment, including excavator, back hoe, dozer and loader
- Perform tasks such as digging, bulldozing, and hoisting
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating Heavy Equipment, including loaders, backhoes, and cranes
- Commercial driving license preferred
- Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $23.00-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 70 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
