Heavy Equipment Operator

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to assist in construction, excavation, and other related projects. If you have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating equipment such as loaders, skid steers, excavators, dozers, graders, packers, rock trucks and/or backhoes, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with the Site Supervisor to execute the designated work sequence.

· Work closely with lead hands and laborers to efficiently accomplish assigned tasks.

· Adhere to instructions provided by the Site Supervisor, lead hand, and spotter.

· Perform tasks as directed within specified timeframes.

· Safely operate equipment, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.

· Maintain equipment by conducting regular maintenance, ensuring cleanliness, and monitoring its condition.

· Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed to meet project requirements.

· Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.

· Demonstrate professionalism and maturity in all interactions.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years of experience operating equipment in construction settings; experience in civil construction is preferred.

· Ability to adapt and follow directions in diverse work environments.

· Strong work ethic with the capacity to work effectively in team settings or independently.

· Willingness to engage in physical labor as required.

· Ability to perform tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and reaching.

· Punctuality and availability to fulfill work commitments.

· Possession of a valid Driver’s License.

Work Conditions:

· Travel to various sites.

· Outdoor environment in various weather conditions.

· Overtime, evening, and weekend work may be required to meet the demands of the position.

Pay Rate: $25 to $35 per hour (based on experience)

This is a full-time, permanent position with highly competitive wages.
