Erosion Control Central is hiring immediately for skid steer operators. There will be opportunities to work with other types of equipment, but we use skid steers primarily for excavation and installation of various erosion and sediment control measures, snow removal, and grading. Successful applicants must hold a valid class 5 licence, be able and willing to work night shifts, be comfortable transporting equipment using 1 ton truck and trailers, and work as a team.

```Duties```

- Operate various types of Heavy Equipment, including skid steers, excavators, and loaders
- Use equipment to perform tasks such as digging, grading, and snow removal
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Adhere to project specifications and timelines

```Qualifications```

- Proven experience operating Heavy Equipment, specifically skid steers and excavators
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of equipment operation
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Proficiency in using Caterpillar equipment is preferred
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 70 per week
