Position: Heavy Equipment Operator
Location: Edmonton area
Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various Heavy Equipment (such as excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, and skid steers) equipped with 3d GPS, safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure operational safety and performance.
- Collaborate with the project team to execute earthworks projects according to plan, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Follow and enforce strict safety guidelines and procedures on the job site.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to minimize disruptions and maximize productivity.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and reliable transportation. Additional certifications for Heavy Equipment operation preferred.
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the construction, earthworks, or related industry.
- Experience with 3D GPS is an asset.
- Familiarity with operating a variety of heavy machinery and their maintenance requirements.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to work in a high-risk environment.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving.
- Ability to work 10-12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $23.00-$34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
Schedule:
