Heavy Equipment Technician

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of farm and construction equipment, including tractors, excavators, loaders, and more.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their equipment concerns and provide top-notch service solutions.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed.

Requirements

• Strong electrical & hydraulic systems knowledge
• Excellent problem solving skills & attention to detail
• Must be able to work and be part of a team environment
• Proven experience in the farm or Heavy Equipment industry
• Agricultural Equipment Technician, Truck and Coach Technician 310T, Heavy Equipment Technician or Automotive Service Technician experience an asset
• Able to travel on occasion for training.

Salary: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week

• London, ON N6L 1L3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• gas or diesel equipment repair: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Red Seal Certificate (preferred)
