Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Generalist is a trusted advisor who understands and proactively supports the strategic goals of the firm as they relate to recruitment, retention, engagement, performance and development of the company’s biggest asset – the people!

What You’ll Do
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment including developing/editing job postings, scheduling interviews and completing reference checks
- Conduct performance reviews and exit interviews
- Handle general employee relations
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding
- Facilitate change initiatives
- Assist with various social events and other project-related activities as needed
What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a law firm or professional service environment
- Completion of a HR program is an asset
- Experience with a HRIS, working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is ideal
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Organized with great judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
