Saskatoon Indian and Metis Friendship Centre (SIMFC) is seeking a full time Human Resource Coordinator/ Benefits Administrator.
SIMFC is looking for a reliable and organized Human Resource Coordinator/ Benefits Administrator.
Duties and responsibilities:
Supporting the recruitment and hiring process by sourcing candidates, assisting in shortlisting, interviewing, performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts.
Responding to internal & external HR related inquiries and requests and assisting when necessary.
Overseeing the maintenance of all confidential HR related records, including personnel files, benefits records, and payroll records.
Creating job analysis when required.
Developing & administering employee performance evaluations.
Reviewing, updating, and revising policies and procedures.
Overseeing the administration of Employee benefits.
Qualifications:
Training in Human Resources or a related field.
Requirements and skills
Proven work experience as a Human Resource Coordinator/ Benefits Administrator or similar role.
Good time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication, including speaking, writing and active listening.
Excellent understanding of labour standards in Saskatchewan.
Excellent understanding of HR processes including employment contracts, performance evaluations and progressive discipline.
