Can you see yourself assisting the Human Resources Project Lead and Senior Analyst in supporting the HR team with project delivery, providing expertise on projects involving technology solutions or processes, and identifying cross-functional opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies in the way HR information is delivered back to the organization? What will you be doing!

  • Compiling and maintaining reports on monthly HR metrics, ad hoc requests, and supporting the execution and production of HR dashboards in Power BI, identifying opportunities for enhanced reporting based on organizational trends.
  • Completing ad hoc reporting as required for various stakeholders throughout the organization through the completion of a needs analysis and standardized reporting outputs.
  • Driving process improvements and efficiencies for HR effectiveness, reporting, and analytics.
  • Supporting the strategic growth of HR Analytics at CNL through conducting research, benchmarking, data analysis, and report preparation to support organizational decision-making.
  • Identifying root causes of data integrity or process issues through regular auditing and recommending solutions for opportunities in process improvements as a result of these findings.
  • Continuously analyzing reporting outcomes and processes, making improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and the value of the reports, insights, and dashboards through consultation with key stakeholders as required.
  • Participating in projects by providing expert knowledge and advice on how to leverage the information available to assist in establishing business requirements or validating business assumptions.
  • Supporting the Human Resources Project Lead in the development of tools and processes that support the HR team in the successful execution of project deliverables.
  • Participating in HR and IT projects as the subject matter expert on the organization's HRMS and/or other relevant HR technology, how it aligns and integrates with other systems and processes, and how best to leverage the technology to support future HR processes and procedures.
  • Being accountable for supporting and monitoring data integrity within the HRMS by monitoring, assessing, categorizing, and assigning day-to-day break/fix related incidents and problems within Service CNL.
  • Supporting and executing Oracle HR-related configuration (e.g., Work Structure configuration) as required in partnership with IT and providing relevant education and training on configuration as required.
  • Maintaining and operating the HCMS system with responsibility for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle application changes and for identifying opportunities to leverage the technology to better meet the needs of HR.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree or Diploma from a college or university program in the field of Human Resources or Business or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • CHRP Designation would be an asset
  • 3 to 5 years progressive work experience in Human Resources with a focus on HR analytics, and/or statistical analysis is preferred.
  • Experience working with Oracle or other Human Resource Management Systems required
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment managing conflicting priorities
  • Strong problem solving, modeling and analytical skills and capacity for thorough and accurate compilation of data for clear reporting of results.
  • Ability to translate analytical results into conclusions and recommendations.
  • Ability to operate as a team player with minimal supervision, self-directed and self-motivated
  • Advanced computer applications skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, & HRMS databases
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) skills; ability to present complex issues in a simple yet factual and meaningful manner
  • High level of adaptability/flexibility; ability to cope with a changing environment
  • Initiative to resolve problems, identify opportunities for efficiencies and expedite resources, work plans or other appropriate action as required and/or directed
  • Strong organization skills with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Must be able to see the 'big picture', by having a solid understanding of how all the pieces fit together as changes apply not only to individual employees, but other processes, work areas and/or systems as well
  • Must be aware of and embrace the ever-changing work environment and proactively make recommendations to change.
  • Must be a “change agent” who is willing to help others to accept and understand change, share their skills and proactively learn new skills.
  • Ability to develop a strong understanding of CNL's Business and more specifically Human Resources role within it, as it relates to the application of HR best practices and process for data analysis and leveraging technology
  • Strong Knowledge of HRMS administration and how the application impacts and interact with other relevant applications within the organization
  • Ability to consult, support and liaise effectively with a variety of stakeholders relating to HR systems, business processes and priorities associated with system changes that need to be made. This can include 3rd party service providers, internal to the Human Resources mission, and other departments/end users throughout all levels at CNL

Security clearance eligibility required: Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United States and/or the United Kingdom.

Location:

CNL works with employees across Canada to enable a remote workforce where possible. Our Work from Home employees are provided with the equipment required to be successful: laptop, monitor, external etc. Of course, we always love a visit to site when possible!
