Testmark Laboratories Ltd., a leader in the provision of analytical environmental lab testing services, is looking for a qualified candidate for the role of Human Resources Manager.
Based out of our Head Office located in Garson, ON, this role is responsible for the development, management, and deployment of Testmark’s Human Resources program across all our laboratory facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop recruitment policies and strategies
- Develop, review, or improve employee programs
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale and overall satisfaction
- Foster a positive organizational culture that aligns with the company’s values
- Ensure company policies are in line with current government regulations
- Liaise with external partners such as insurance vendors, legal compliance, and pension and benefit administrators as required
- Answer questions from employees related to Human Resources
- Address and resolve employee relations issues
- Identify training needs and help coordinate the development of training programs
- Publish and manage job ads on different platforms
- Provide recruiting assistance and candidate screening and assessment
- Organize and maintain personnel records
- Prepare reports for management on key HR metrics and trends
- Other administrative office duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of progressive related work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or certification in an accredited HR program
- CHRP certification is strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adept in problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
