Requirements:
▪ Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Immigration Consultancy
▪ Minimum 2 years' experience working in immigration or a law related industry
▪ Experience in handling SOWP, Visitor & Super Visas, LMIA Applications, Work Permits, Permanent Residency files such as Express Entry, Federal PNP programs, Family Sponsorships.
▪ Experience with LMIA applications is mandatory. License/Certification: Immigration Consultant/ Case Manager Diploma (mandatory)

Responsibilities:
1. Apply knowledge of Canadian immigration processing categories and understand requirements for each category
2. On instruction and direction from the client, work on applicant files by preparing the applicant for immigration processing based on the visa type
3. Collect information from applicants via email and update the clients' folders.
4. Using available resources to draft complete application packages for review by the licensed professionals and the clients.
5. Make revisions to drafts as directed by the client and/ or the licensed professionals.
6. Ensure that applications are filed by the licensed professionals in the firm in a timely manner
7. Meet with the client to discuss questions raised by the applicants and then relate information back to the client
8. Draft emails in response to queries by applicants and prospects
9. Work with the client and other third-party service providers to drafting of forms, copying of documents, and sending out packages on behalf of applicants
10. Follow-up with immigration authorities on pending applications
11. Enter and monitor expiration dates for applicants' status in the tracking system
12. Review expiration reports
13. Conducting comprehensive client assessments to determine the best immigration pathways.
14. Preparing accurate immigration applications and supporting documents.
15. Providing guidance on immigration programs, policies, and procedures.
16. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of immigration regulations and changes.
17. Notify clients of upcoming extensions
18. Keep individual applicant status charts updated (where required)
19. Create videos on immigration updates for our social media platforms.
