Wee College Downtown is seeking an Inclusion Support Worker
(Individualized Support)
If you have a natural passion for caring for children, empowering confidence, and encouraging learning, you’ve officially found your home with Wee College. The successful candidates will be experienced in working with Children, be goal oriented, hard working, creative & can work independently or in a partnership.
The responsibilities of the Support Worker are:
- Complete the Inclusion Support webinars & other relevant training.
- Must be willing to collaborate with the educators & operator in the learning environment: Observe, Document & Create a support plan.
- Create Strategies that help support the child growth with regulating their emotions, social ques, Listening to directions, ect…
- Provide opportunities for growth, independence & when its possible decrease support as skills improves.
- Have open communication with the families, allow them to be involved in implementation ways that they can support their child.
This positions requires:
- Standard workplace First -Aid and CPR Level C
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Clear SD Check
This is a temporary position for a duration of 6 months with 35h a week. However, it could potentially lead to a full time position.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $15.90-$24.47 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
