Industrial Painter

Forum Athletic Products is seeking a hard working individual to join our manufacturing team. Forum Athletic Products is a manufacturer and installer of gymnasium equipment, bleachers and divider curtains.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as required
- Mix and apply paint to metal surfaces using a pressure pot spray gun
- Ensure proper adhesion and coverage of paint by following established procedures
- Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear while working
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Requirements:
- Experience in industrial painting or a similar field is preferred
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Ability to operate hand and power tools effectively
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint quantities
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects as required

Hours are 6:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday, 6:30am to 12pm Fridays, with the first Friday of every month off.

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
