This role is a remote position. Candidates should be located within Toronto, ON, Canada
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) provides support to the sales team about specification verification, pricing, and proposal presentations to help further enhance the company’s position in the market. The Inside Sales role will provide support for all international regions.
Responsibilities:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound emails
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Research accounts, identify key players and gauge opportunities
- Responsible for processing purchase orders received from the Company's business customers.
- Communicate expected delivery dates and explain stock-outs
- Provide upsell opportunities by reviewing customer’s buying history, suggesting new and related, and explains technical features
- Act as primary point-of-contact for requests for information general follow-up activities
- Maintain accurate records on all customer activities in internal database systems / CRM
- Support the sales team in a variety of administrative tasks as required
- Build and maintain customer loyalty by providing prompt friendly service
- Received purchase order requests via email, review for errors and omissions, and enter the quote information into the Company's ERP system
- Responsible for resolving issues related to incomplete or inaccurate orders
- Reviews open orders and provides status updates or requests additional information from applicable departments

Qualifications:
- HS Diploma/GED required
- 1+ years of data entry experience required
- Minimum of 2+ years customer service, sales or sales support experience preferred
- Working knowledge of CRMs preferred
- Ability to properly construct written proposals
- Ability to use Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, and time management ability.
- Keen attention to detail
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- This is a remote position - candidate needs to be in Toronto, ON, Canada
- Must be able to sit or stand for up to eight (8) hours at a time
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
