We are currently looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our Team. Our Inside Sales Representatives partner with our industry leading Team of Outside Sales Representatives to develop and strengthen relationships with our customers to drive revenue, making this position of the utmost importance to our continued success. Exceptional organizational and communication skills coupled with strong presentation and skills are essential to this role.
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the primary role of the Inside Sales Representative is to make relevant, quality, outbound calls to a defined group of customers providing information regarding our products and services while mining for opportunities to position our alphabroder value to drive revenue. The Inside Sales Rep will also provide solutions and options for our customers to achieve a positive customer experience and ensure continued loyalty and customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for growing revenue within a specific group of customers through quality, relevant outbound calls
- Effectively present company value proposition including products, services, tools and resources to increase sales activity.
- Maintain a strong contact cycle with customers creating and/or executing callout campaigns as touch point to increase sales opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of a strong Team selling model through partnership with our Field Sales Representatives
- Collaborate with Field Sales on initiatives to build a pipeline and maximize/close opportunities.
- Source new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails and effective use of available tool and resources
- Assess territory performance and present new ideas and solutions to enhance the programs /initiatives in place.
- Effectively use probing skills to develop and document customer profile.
- Identify trends in the marketplace.
- Prepare and communicate quotes.
- Follow up with customers on samples, quotes and marketing collateral.
- Provide information to customers by phone, fax and email regarding styles, inventory, pricing, backorders, discontinued items, shipping dates, specials, policies and procedures.
- On-going maintenance of customer and order database
- Achieve sales and customer contact targets.
- Other related duties as assigned by the Inside Sales Manager
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Completion of a related post-secondary Diploma or Degree preferred.
- Possess a minimum of two (2) years’ proven success in direct business-to-business sales, business-to-business cold calling or phone-based business-to-business prospecting.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to successfully focus on multiple tasks, set priorities and achieve metrics.
- Demonstrate the ability to successfully market to complex accounts.
- Sales experience in promotional goods/apparel is a definite asset as well as B2B sales.
- Proficient in MS office
- Skilled in online research and online presentation
- Availability to work a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
