Primary Function:
To perform all tasks of an Inspector Level C and to conduct non-destructive examinations.
Tasks:

-Perform NDE in all areas of the Shop.
-Read and interpret documentation, including drawings and operating procedures.
-Create inspection reports, maintain and file documentation.
-Demonstrate good workmanship and practices.
-Communicate effectively with internal team members (i.e. peers, production leadership, project management, engineering) as well as customer representatives.
-Work in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety and environmental guidelines/regulations.
-Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations.
Qualifications:

-Proven commitment to workplace safety.
-Must possess MT Level 2 AND PT Level 2 PLUS 2 of the following:

-CEDO
-UT CGSB-1
-RT CGSB-1
-2 years as a Fabrication/Machining inspector with BWXT
-5 years as Fabrication/Machine inspector with documented evidence from an external company or 5 years Fitting/Welding experience within BWXT
-Certified Weld Inspector (AWS-CWI or CWB2)

-Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in nuclear power-related industry.
-Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member, willing to go the extra mile to ensure we meet our customer expectations.
-Proficiency with computer software.
-Available to work all shifts:

-Weekday days: 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Mon – Thurs) OR
-Weekday afternoons: 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. (Mon – Thurs) OR
-Weekend days: 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Fri, Sat, Sun; paid for 40 hours) OR
-Weekend afternoons: 5:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m. (Fri, Sat, Sun; paid for 40 hours)
