We are a prominent precision machining company operating in the Windsor / Essex County area looking for a rockstar team member in our quality department. Concorde Precision Machining Inc. is on a mission to be the “go-to” employer in our community by using innovative processes and providing creative solutions to any production need.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position will be physically inspecting completed parts before they leave the facility. The successful candidate will also be responsible for completing production reports.
Here's what a typical day looks like!
- Pre-shipment visual and manual inspection of machined goods
- Documenting and reporting any deficiencies to management
- Manuel gauge calibration
- Creating and completing daily production reports
- All other duties as assigned
The value you bring to our company!
- Grade 12 OSSD or equivalent
- Valid Ontario Driver’s license
- Able to read manual gauges (micrometers, vernier calipers, etc.)
- Strong knowledge in blueprint reading and GD&T with the ability to interpret machining drawings
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with Adobe, Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access with the ability to create spreadsheets from scratch is considered an asset
- Previous experience with an overhead crane
- Experience in a machine shop would be considered an asset. Training will be provided to the ideal candidate.
