Quality Control Inspector

Position Title: Fence Quality Control Inspector

Position Overview:

The Fence Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that fencing installations meet industry standards, company specifications, and customer expectations. This role involves inspecting completed projects, identifying defects or issues, and implementing corrective actions to maintain high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct on-site inspections of completed fencing installations to assess quality and compliance with project requirements.

2. Verify that fencing materials, including posts, panels, gates, and hardware, are installed according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

3. Inspect fence alignments, heights, levels, and finishes to ensure they meet design plans and customer preferences.

4. Check for proper installation of fencing, railings, gates etc and anchoring systems for stability and durability.

5. Evaluate workmanship, welding, fastening, painting, and other finishing details for accuracy and consistency.

6. Identify any defects, imperfections, or non-compliance issues and document them in inspection reports.

7. Collaborate with installation teams, project managers, and subcontractors to address and resolve quality issues promptly.

8. Provide feedback, guidance, to installation crews to maintain quality standards and improve work practices.

9. Monitor project progress and ensure that Quality Control checkpoints are met at each phase of the installation process.

10. Communicate with installation to explain inspection findings, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction with the completed work.

11. Maintain accurate records of inspection reports, Quality Control measures, and project documentation for reference and analysis.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in construction or Quality Control is a plus
