Shift Information: At least 3 days a week (Monday availability is preferred), in-office requirement, 10 AM to 5PM

The Finance Department is responsible for the management of both long-term and day-to-day budget operations and strategy. Sony Music Canada is looking for an exceptional intern to join the Finance team on a short-term basis. As a Finance and Accounting Intern , you will have the opportunity to observe and assist in the day-to-day activities but not limited to:

• Assisting with accounts payable management and administration by receiving and processing supplier invoices
• Reconciling invoices against purchase orders
• Investigating irregularities between invoices and purchase orders
• Working with vendors to ensure accurate invoices provided
• Reviewing current processes and making data-driven recommendations for improvement
• Providing general administrative support to the Artist Marketing team
• Assist with ad-hoc duties

Ideal Candidate :

• Finance, Economics or related major
• Has high attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Has a professional attitude with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Has a strong desire to learn and works well within a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and technology savvy
