DESCRIPTION
The HR, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team is developing and implementing a new HSE plan for all its Canadian sites.
During the internship, the individual will be called upon to work on research, development and implementation of new HSE practices and procedures. They will also have to follow up on statistics and other indicators related to various programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the development of new HSE policies through the search for best practices;
- Support the training organization;
- Support the implementation of the new HSE platform;
- Carry out various follow-ups with OHS committees;
- Participate in the collection of data related to risk analysis and accident investigations;
- Synthesize HSE data and produce analysis reports;
- Perform legal and normative reviews.
- Must be registered in an Bachelor's undergraduate University program,with a specialty in OHS;
- Knowledge of British-Columbia and Quebec OHS legislation, and other provinces an asset;
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Demonstrate curiosity and creativity;
- Fluency in English and French (oral and written);
- Internship: full time, 37.5 hours per week.
