Under Review: Classification 12, $28.41 - 29.29/hr, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees also receive an additional $0.56/hr. in lieu of benefits, as well as having 6% vacation pay paid out with each pay.
Description:
The International Education Department is seeking to hire a temporary, full time staff member that will be responsible for supporting programs and services for international students and will perform logistical and administrative support functions and duties.
Duties may include maintaining financial and attendance reports; organizing information sessions; responding to inquiries from various stakeholders; managing applications data into the student information systems and tracking tuition payments; and facilitating community integration programs.

***NOTE that this position may be based from either the Fort St John or Dawson Creek campus.
Qualifications:
Ideally, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' related experience and 1 year of post-secondary education with a certificate in office administration, or an equivalent combination of experience may be accepted. Experience and proficiency with the current version of MS Office is required. Excellent organizational and both written and verbal communication skills are essential. Must be able to contribute to a team environment, multi-task, and work independently. Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while working with frequent interruptions. A valid BC Driver's License is required.
The selection process will include completion of a comprehensive clerical test.
