Inventory Analyst

Wanderosa Wood Products Ltd. a distributor and manufacturer of raw panel, melamine and plywood products since 1983. From our 160,000 sq. ft. distribution and manufacturing facility in Bolton, Ontario we supply product throughout Southern and Central Ontario to the store fixture, millwork, kitchen cabinet, exhibit and other woodworking industries.

Job Description

As an Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure efficient supply chain operations. Your role will involve analyzing data, identifying trends, and implementing process improvements to optimize inventory levels.

- Analyze inventory levels and demand patterns to determine optimal stock levels
- Develop and implement inventory control strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory replenishment
- Monitor and track inventory movement, including receiving, storage, and distribution
- Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory records
- Continuously monitor demand patterns and adjust inventory levels accordingly

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions

-Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize storage space utilization

Qualifications To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

-Previous experience in a similar role

-Ability to analyze data and identify trends

-Advanced Excel skills required, vlookup, pivot tables, statistical functions etc

-Proficiency in inventory management systems and software

-Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement

-Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
