As Inventory and Logistics Specialist you will be responsible for working seamlessly with all departments. Your position is integral to the smooth operations of all areas. Our jobs all revolve around beer and your job is at the center.
Duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate with all departments to establish and maintain effective inventory management controls throughout the company.
- Provide support and assistance to all departments during month-end inventory counts.
- Perform regular inventory counts of both packaged and kegged beer.
- Conduct regular inventory counts for sales merchandise to support the sales department.
- Consolidate all inventory data into the End of Month Inventory Google Sheet in EKOS and Google Sheets.
- Develop proficiency in EKOS software to effectively manage inventory, sales, invoicing, and reporting.
- Generate and analyze inventory adjustments, actively investigating any discrepancies and promptly reporting irregularities to management.
- Ensure timely and accurate stock transfers between fridges, maintaining optimal inventory levels at each location based on projected needs.
- Foster strong relationships with the order desk team to facilitate smooth operations and customer satisfaction across all areas of TNG.
- Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide backup support for inside sales activities, understanding their responsibilities to seamlessly cover when needed.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Certification in inventory management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in inventory management, preferably in a retail, wholesale, or distribution environment.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and tools, with a strong preference for experience with EKOS or similar systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to perform thorough inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve inventory-related issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Demonstrates ability to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion, including coordinating tasks, managing timelines, and overcoming obstacles to achieve desired outcomes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
- Knowledge of sales processes and experience supporting inside sales activities is a plus.
Working conditions
The incumbent works primarily in an office environment which is clean, comfortable, well-lit with a noise level that is usually moderate. The incumbent will spend time on the production floor which can be a noisy, smelly, hot and humid environment. It can also be a dangerous environment with heavy machinery, hot liquids and forklifts moving very heavy loads.
The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud most of the time. Temperatures vary seasonally in work areas.
Physical requirements
The incumbent is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
The incumbent is also required to frequently lift and move up 55lbs and be able to move kegs which weigh 150lbs. The incumbent is also required to occasionally use a forklift.

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
