We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join our team. As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, ensuring accurate and efficient tracking of inventory levels, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory control. This is a key role in our organization, and we are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can effectively manage inventory processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan inventory replenishment
- Oversee order fulfillment process, including picking, packing, and shipping
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Utilize data visualization tools to analyze inventory data and identify trends or issues
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions in the company's systems
- Conduct regular analysis of slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend appropriate actions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to inventory management
Experience:
- Proven experience in inventory management or related field
- Strong knowledge of materials management systems and processes
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
- Experience with inventory management software is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to effectively buy, negotiate, and sell products
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
