About the role
We’re looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our growing Lab team!
As a Business Analyst, you play a key role as an interpreter and facilitator with the various business units, the design and product teams, IT and the quality assurance team. You will be at the heart of a small team whose sole mission is to create and constantly improve the functionalities of our insurance policy offer and sales product that we consider the best not only in the insurance field, but on the web in general. What you'll do here:
Analyze business needs to define IT solutions.
Lead / prepare / participate in business requirements workshops to specify IT solutions.
Make impact analysis and effort estimates to advocate, get approval, then document the IT solution using effective methods and interacting with both business users and the IT project team.
Support the development of solutions and monitor the velocity of the team.
Support test Quality Assurance activities and User Acceptance Tests.
Support Product Owners in handling their backlogs and prioritize work to be done.
Document User Stories effectively so they can be clearly understood by Front End, Back End developers and Quality Assurance.
Identify and convey the impacts on Business processes to support change management in Business units via train the trainer documents and procedures
Build a solid, reusable and thorough system documentation to be used by any stakeholders.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or any combination of equivalent education and experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Project experiences in Scrum mode
Experience and knowledge in the insurance field
Experience and knowledge of applications in a web
Mastery of JIRA, Confluence & DNG
Bilingual (French and english) Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country.
