Janitor/Dining Room/Laundry

SUMMARY

Under the direction and supervision of the Maintenance/Janitorial Team Lead and or ED, this person will provide Janitorial, dining room and chamber maid support.

Key Responsibilities:

· Contributes to a welcoming community/environment for all residents and the public.

· Ensures all high touch areas are sanitized daily.

· Vacuum & wash floors in meeting rooms, offices, hallways and other common used areas as required.

· Laundry and changing of beds daily.

· Assist with Maintenance i.e. painting, small repairs, etc where needed.

. Clean the the grounds a few times a day and as needed.

. Assist with food services (dishwashing, cleaning tables and dining area)

· Use and maintain supplied equipment.

· Follow instructions in the use of cleaning chemicals as per WHMIS.

· Empty and clean waste baskets and dispose of waste in dumpster.

· Clean windows and window ledges monthly.

· Assist with the set up and take down of facilities as needed.

· Order janitorial supplies as needed – send to Office Manager

· Maintain and organize storage areas and equipment.

· Other related duties as needed.

· Report all damage or safety concerns in writing within 24 hours to Maintenance/Janitorial Team Lead and or ED.

· Attend all mandatory training as required.

MANDATORY:

· Must provide Criminal Record Check

· Valid WHIMIS, food safe

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
